In the screenshot above, the bar will be where it says, “Maximum Level Reached”. Then, take a look beneath the Character Sheet column where it’ll show a bar for your experience. By default, you can reach the character sheet by pressing “N”. Before taking a look at our tips below, make sure you know how to check your experience bar progress for each character. If you’re trying to reach the level 4 max cap in the early access release of Baldur’s Gate III, here are a few tips and tricks to help you out. Feats allow you to improve a character’s ability score or pick a Feat like Dual Wielder, for example. You may be able to pick new spells, new proficiencies, and/or a feat. Be sure to take your time and realize what opportunities are available. While the right side is where you mostly want to look in case there’s anything you want to change.ĭepending on what class character you’re leveling, you may also have a chance early on to pick a subclass. Their character sheet is partially shown on the left side of the screen. ![]() This is the leveling screen with information on what new spells, hit points, and more that your character is gaining. ![]() ![]() Once you click that white plus over the portrait of a character you want to level up, you’ll see a new screen. There should be a white plus over every character’s portrait assuming you’re not leveling a new companion. Once you’ve leveled up, you’ll get a notification telling you, and a nice little white plus on your portrait at the bottom left corner.
